"I consider the style I play 'Contemporary Canadiana Rock/Folk'. I grew up on Canadian music by amazing artists such as Gordon Lightfoot, The Tragically Hip, and everything else in between so it seemed natural to combine those influences.Truthfully I have very wide musical tastes and influences. During my University studies, I was immersed heavily in traditional and contemporary Jazz & Latin. Over time I have simply decided on Folk/Rock styles to filter those and other influences because it naturally feels like 'home' to me."
A recent review from acclaimed Canadian author and columnist for the Globe and Mail Roy MacGregor describes Echoes of Voices as "Fabulously cottage-esque. Channels some great vibrations, yet has a distinct feel and sound. Songs like Muskoka Chair illustrate the simpilicty of better days, and provide a foot-tapping escape from reality to dock life."
